Requirements for DPSA Law Researcher :-

Grade 12 certificate and a LLB or four (4) year legal qualification as recognised by SAQA. A minimum of two (2) years’ relevant legal experience. A minimum of three (3) years’ legal research experience. A minimum of three (3) years’ supervisory experience. Knowledge of electronic information resources and the ability to access and utilize computer research programmes (Westlaw, LexisNexis, Jutastats). A LLM degree will serve as an added advantage. Skills and Competencies: Excellent research and analytical skills. Report writing and editing skills. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Understanding of the Constitution and relevant legislation. Computer literacy (MS Office). Problem analysis and solving skills. Planning and organizing.
