Requirements for DPSA Child And Youth Care Team Leader :-

Grade 12 (Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification); A minimum of 7 years appropriate experience in child and youth care work after obtaining the required qualification; A valid code B driving licence. Recommendation: Registration as an auxiliary or above Child and Youth Care practitioner. Competencies: Knowledge of the following: Developmental programmes and interventions; Clerical/ administrative procedures; Rules and procedures of the Care Centre; Professional norms and standards; Professional ethics; Skills in the following: Proven computer literacy; Written and verbal communication; Ability to intervene and resolve conflict; Report writing; Presentation and facilitation; Planning and organising; Work effectively with social workers and members of multi-sectoral teams in social service delivery.
